ABC Family annouced a third season for Make It or Break it on Sept. 16, 2011.

每屆奧運唯一可以讓我沒有旁騖、定在電視機前的轉播，只有體操。老爸總笑說那是補償心理，因為我連走路都會跌到、跳躍都會扭到。所以去年夏天ABC Family推出以the lives of teen gymnasts為主軸的Make It Or Break It的時候，雖然離開青春期都好幾年了，我還是fell for it。

一開始被定位成summer drama的Make It Or Break It只有十集，為放暑假out of school的孩子們所製作（2009年六月首播），故事結束在The Rock的選手們到波士頓參加國家體操隊的甄選。出乎意料好的收視率讓電視台又追加了十集，今年一月續映，三月初劃下句號。第二季將在這個夏天推出，當然，每位演員都有奧運級的選手替身。

這四個以體操訓練為生活重心、進入國家隊在奧運奪金為呼吸意義的女孩（Emily、Payson、Kaylie、Lauren），雖然大半時間都專注在科羅拉多州Rocky Mountain中心（簡稱The Rock）的體操訓練，但她們畢竟是十幾歲的女孩，還是會因為家裡的經濟問題、父母的婚姻危機、異性的叛離與示好而分心，失去焦點。她們會嫉妒、會難過、會害怕，但就如Kaylie在第一季最後一集裡跟她的隊友們說的一樣，正因為這些issues才讓她們成為「一家人」。

很喜歡Kaylie在她的team pep talk裡的最後一段話：「It's OK to have fear, that means you have passion.」是啊，人生不就是這樣嗎？對於未知我們都會感到害怕，但就像村上春樹在《１Ｑ８４》裡寫的：「往後對誰來說都是未知的領域。沒有地圖。轉過下一個轉角會有什麼埋伏著，不轉過去看看就不知道。也無法想像。」如果在全國賽高低槓項目摔斷脊椎的Payson都能說服自己去相信，再一次飛舞，那麼我們跌倒受了點傷又怎樣？只要記得有人（family and friends）會緊抓著我們不放手、會always be there for us no matter what，就足夠了。

單親家庭的Emily是跳馬天才。媽媽是個做什麼事都三分鐘熱度的樂天派，交往過的男人一個比一個差勁。
在加入The Rock體操訓練中心之前，公園就是她的練習場。為了生活費她不得不瞞著教練在披薩店打工。

 
笑容甜美的Kaylie是地板公主。她擁有令人稱羨的優渥家庭背景，爸爸過去是棒球明星、媽媽是暢銷歌手。
一切卻在她發現媽媽與前教練偷情、最好的朋友與自己的男友發生關係後變調了，在揭穿與隱瞞之間掙扎。

 
完美主義的Payson是全能選手／高低槓主將。凡事要求第一的個性，讓她一度無法面對脊椎受傷的事實。
還好有陪著她掉淚、無條件付出、沒放棄希望的爸媽，在她以為人生已失去意義的時候支撐著她走過一切。

 
渴望被愛的Lauren是平衡木精靈。在被媽媽遺棄的陰影下，她把自己武裝起來、腦袋分秒都轉動著計謀。
失落感加上好勝心，好幾次都讓她不顧一切、衝動地做出傷害別人的事情。內心的惡魔與天使總是在交戰。
