前幾天看到一篇關於UNESCO World Heritage Centre的報導，連結一個一個往下看，結果看到凌晨六點多... (昏)
我旅行、閱讀、書寫，所以我存在。 喜愛極了這樣的生活、這樣的感動。


1872年，黃石國家公園（Yellowstone National Park）成為地球的第一個國家公園。1972年，美國提議成立世界遺產（World Heritage Sites），由聯合國教科文組織（United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO）管理。全世界有一百多個國家參與，自己提名自己國家的「遺產」，然後經過委員會審核。

根據World Heritage List：我們現在有981個世界遺產點（人文類759個、193個自然類，還有29個綜合類），分屬160個state parties。這些地點必須符合至少一樣條件才有資格被列為世界遺產：

人文類：
(1) 能代表人類創造力的傑作。
(2) 在一段期間或同一文化地區，能代表人類價值觀變革的建築物、科技、藝術品、市鎮規劃或景觀設計。
(3) 對一個現存或已消失的古文明或文化傳統具有特殊意義的地點。
(4) 在人類歷史上有畫時代意義，具有代表性的建築、科技的集成或是人為景觀。
(5) 能夠做為一或多個特定文明拓荒或土地利用方式的代表範例，尤其是那些因為時代變遷而逐漸式微的傳統方式。
(6) 與重要的世界性歷史事件，生活方式，原創意念，信仰或藝術文學作品直接相關。（這個條件只適用於特例）

自然類：
(1) 能代表地球歷史的重要階段，包括生命的紀錄、進行中的重大地質變化過程，或是地理上重要的特徵。
(2) 能代表進行中的生態或生物演化過程，或是地面／淡水／海岸／海洋生態系與動植物族群。
(3) 包含了最特別的自然現象，具有特別的自然美或美學上的重要性。
(4) 原生物種具有保育的重要性（像是濱臨絕種的生物）。
