I told Dad that I was awarded the Best Catch of the Month for catching a wrong name used in a story about a stabbing. The March 11 story originally had the officer's name as the one being arrested. And he replied:

"Congratuations!!!!!!!!!! We are really proud of you. You have done a very good job. As parents, we are really lucky to have you and Evan. Both of you are very independent. But still, I do think we may need to go to the U.S. some time to see if there's anything that we can help. Don't hesitate to let us know if you need help. BE CAREFUL and take care."


Hmm ... Dad told me to be careful, but I haven't said anything about the car wreck yet.
